When we receive your initial enquiry, we will contact you to find out what kind of property you want: it’s style and size; is it just for holidays or permanent use; preferred location coast or countryside; what’s your budget parameters? If you want a mortgage, we can point you in the right direction, too.
If you know Mallorca and have decided on an area you like, that’s fine, but if you don’t know the island that well, don’t worry, we can advise you on all the best places!
We give you unbiased advice on the whole island, unlike individual estate agents who only want to sell you their properties in their area. We will guide you on where to find the best value, where is suited more for holidays than year-round living, even where to find the best weather (yes it does vary quite a bit!).
From the information you give us, we use our local knowledge and contacts to find properties for sale in areas we believe will suit your requirements and meet your brief.
We send you photos and information on these by email so you can discuss them among yourselves and with us if you wish, answering any questions you may have.
We note any negative and positive comments and continue to search until we all agree on a shortlist of properties that you wish to view.
The viewing trip
With your viewing list agreed, just let us know the dates you can visit Mallorca and we will arrange for you to view the properties. We will accompany you at the viewings and offer unbiased views based on our knowledge and experience of the island’s property market. Should one or two look promising, we can arrange a second or even a third look if you wish.
If it’s your first time buying abroad or on Mallorca, don’t worry, we make sure you won’t be pressurised at all. We know from experience that until you’ve seen some properties and areas, it can be difficult to be sure what you want and your views may change. In which case we can show you different areas that may suit and usually arrange to see other properties too.
When we’ve found your perfect property on Mallorca and you wish to proceed to purchase, we will take all the hassle and worry out of purchasing and be with you all the way.
Firstly we will negotiate with the agent on your behalf, having been through the process many times, we know how to ensure you get the best possible deal.
Then, if you wish, we will introduce you to an English-speaking lawyer who will handle your purchase, putting your best interests first.
We know when you’re buying a property abroad, it can be a stressful time, which is why our experience, having handled many purchases for British people, is invaluable – and remember, it will not cost you a penny more than buying direct from an estate agent
See our Buyers Guide for the full buying process and estimated costs.
The things not to forget
When you are buying a property on Mallorca, there are naturally other considerations to make, such as opening a bank account, arranging currency exchange, insurance, property management, maybe even builders and decorators. Whatever you may need, we are sure we will be able to recommend someone you can rely on.
